Show them, don't just tell them

By Isaac Stalzer

Anyone can say they're the right person for the job. The people who win the room show it. That's the idea behind Show Them: one longer film, Explained 02, and a set of short ones, each making the same point from a different side.

Telling is a claim. Showing is proof. Every client meeting comes down to one question: can this person actually do what they say? Everyone in your market makes the same claims. What's different is whether you can put the photos, the video, the plan and the numbers in front of the client, right when they ask.

Your presentation, like your phone's home screen. On your phone you don't go looking for a photo inside a calculator. Each job has its own app. A PitchBoard works the same way: the board is the home screen, and each tile opens its own small app. Photos open as a full-screen gallery. Video plays full screen. A brochure opens as a PDF you can page through. Numbers go in an AI widget you adjust while they watch. A map or a 3D tour opens as a live website. A tile can even open another board.

One tap there, one tap back. You could keep all of that in separate apps, but then you leave your presentation every time you need something. On a board it's one tap there and one tap back, in whatever order the conversation goes. Slides decide the order for you. A board lets the conversation decide.

The short films. Each one takes one piece of the idea, and our three AI presenters, AIsaac, Annie and Brianna, take turns with them:

Show, don't tell. Watch it on Instagram

Your presentation has apps. Watch it on Instagram

Stop app-hopping. Watch it on Instagram

Claim vs. proof. Watch it on Instagram

Earlier on the same idea. Don't just talk. Show them. puts a real board on an iPad and taps through it, and Your presentation should be alive sets a still slide next to a board that moves.

Whether it's a listing appointment, a buyer consultation or a recruiting meeting, the client believes what they see for themselves. So don't just tell them you're the right choice. Show them. Build your first board free.
